Merit Scholarship Scheme Pakistan Engineering Council Academic Session 2015-16

Applications are invited from the Sons/Daughters of engineers enrolled in any accredited engineering programs of an Engineering University/HEIs for undergoing Master and Undergraduate (Federal (Islamabad Capital Territory), province of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA for male/female students) studies in various engineering program(s) disciplines on yearly basis.

Eligibility Criterion

Criterion for award of the scholarship shall be as under:-

1. Applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan and is Son/Daughter of engineer     registered with PEC.
2. He/She be a registered/professional engineer with PEC (except applicant for BE Scholarship).
3. He/She shall have enrollment as full-time student in an accredited engineering program of PEC being offered in any recognized PEC University/Institution (HEI).
4. He/She must have (CGPA above 3.00 out of 4.00 in semester system) or above 65% marks in annual/term examination system in undergraduate engineering program.
5. In case of Master’s Degree Scholarship, the applicant must produce domicile of the respective province. However, applicant could be student in any public/private sector university/institution in Pakistan.
6. For undergraduate female scholarship, the applicant must possess domicile of respective province/federal/(Islamabad Capital Territory).
7. He/she shall not be concurrently availing any other scholarship(NOC from university authorities will be required).

Documents to be attached

1. Attested copy of Credentials (Matric, F.Sc. Or Pre-Engg., B.E/B.Sc. Engg.Certificates)
2. Attested copy of CNIC and Domicile
3. Two Passport Size Photographs (duly attested at the back side).
4. Attested copy of B.E/B.Sc./M.E/M.Sc. Engg. Enrollment certificate of the university/Institution
5. Copies of PEC registration Certificate of applicant and parent
6. NOC from the University authorities for not availing any other scholarship/fellowship (original copy).
